My Story
I am a qualified teacher (PGCE with QTS) and hold an Enhanced DBS, with over five years of teaching experience across both primary and secondary schools in Berkshire, Hampshire, and Surrey. My experience as a cover teacher has allowed me to work with a wide range of learners, age groups, and school environments, giving me a deep understanding of diverse learning needs and classroom dynamics.
Before entering teaching, I have a strong academic and professional foundation in engineering and technology. I hold a Degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master’s in Renewable Energy Technology and Sustainability (Distinction) from the University of Reading. I also have over 10 years of work experience in the industry, within Power Distribution & Transmission and Telecommunications.
This unique blend of real-world industry experience and classroom teaching enables me to bring learning to life—helping students see how STEM subjects connect directly to the world around them.
